For almost a year it felt like the world was standing still. Now, international borders are opening up again. To many, this means being able to return home. With heritage and cultural identity being a core driver for us at Filling Pieces, the campaign of this year's Signature Ready To Wear collection emphasises the importance of going back to your roots.

Shot in Lagos, Nigeria in collaboration with Dutch-Nigerian photographer Coco Olakunle, our AW21 Editorial explores heritage, identity, and blending cultures. The campaign challenges the notion of ‘traditional’ fashion, and captures it through the perspective of third culture citizens; Creating something new in the context of blending cultures.

Shot as a crossover between documentary and fashion photography, the editorial features local creatives, friends, and family of Olakunle wearing our Signature Apparel collection, celebrating their identity and heritage as it shines through in their personal style.
